Add your items
Create the products and services you buy and sell.
An item is anything you buy, sell or keep in stock.
Add an item
- From Stock, open Item and create a new one.
- Enter the Item Code, the short code you use for it.
- Enter the Item Name.
- Choose the Item Group.
- Choose the Default Unit of Measure.
- Save.
If you already know how many you have, the item form has a field for opening stock. For many items at once, use opening stock.
Add the barcode too if you sell at a counter. The till matches it exactly.
