What we set up
- Batch and expiry tracking, selling what expires first, with stock never below zero
- The till, with cashiers and shift closing
- Customer credit with payment terms
- A warehouse and cost centre for each branch
- Purchase orders before goods are received
- Staff records and payroll
What it does not do yet
- A sale cannot be split between a customer and an insurer
- A controlled drug can be flagged, but there is no register of its sales and stock
- No drug interaction checks
- No reports for the regulator
- No patient records
- The till needs an internet connection
- Printing goes through the browser: there is no direct receipt printer or cash drawer support
